Our International Visitor’s Weekend is designed for professionals working in theatre and dance for all ages. Alongside a dense programme of Dutch and international performances we also organise artist talks, tours and networking events. Through this weekend, we hope to start conversations, create connections and inspire professionals with a showcase of experimental work for all.
Tweetakt focuses on presenting excellent work for any age, resulting in a festival that caters to an expansive and diverse audience. Work that is focused on engaging with all audiences, including children, allows artists to create clear, accessible performances without losing the quality of expression we see in other professional artworks. For over fifteen years Festival Tweetakt has promoted accessible arts for the city of Utrecht while remaining steadfast in investing in pioneering and exciting performances. During previous editions of the International Visitor’s Weekend we presented work from established companies such as Studio ORKA, hetpaleis, fABULEUS, Maas theater en dans, Het Filiaal and Theater Artemis.
This year’s edition will take place from the 14th of June untill the 30th of June 2024.
