In our everyday lives we meet people and come across objects. We connect with them, until it is time to let go. Then we pack our things and go. Where we go, and who will meet when we get there; nobody can predict. But isn’t that simply fantastic?

‘Packing your things and leaving’, is the meaning of the German expression ‘deine Siebensachen packen’. Kajetan and Siruan are taking it quite literally. They each carry seven objects when they run into each other onstage. Without language, but with a good dose of clownery and sound, we witness them being together. Holding onto each other and letting go. Celebrating moments of friendship and saying goodbye, just like in real life. Siebensachen tackles every emotion.

about the makers

Kompanie Freispiel is an Austrian theatre company that was founded in 2010. Their productions are collaborations between theatre makers and performers Kajetan Uranitsch, Siruan Darbandi and Simon Schober. The company wants to touch young people’s hearts, kindle enthusiasm in them and make them cry out and laugh, using simple means and recognisable situations. In 2019 they came to Tweetakt with Ein Stück Teilen. Kajetan Uranitsch is also at Tweetakt 2020 with Detective Le Schmou, a show that Kajetan developed especially for Tweetakt, first as a work-in-progress at Fort Ruigenhoek in 2018, after which it became a big hit in the Trekkerschuur on Neude square.
