Privacy refers to personal details that are traceable to their owners. Some of these, visitors supply knowingly, while the website collects others in the background.
In order to ensure accurate handling of your online purchase, your e-mail address is required. Festival Tweetakt or any of our media partners may make or commission photos and recorded images or sound recordings, both during the festival and during educational activities prior to and after the festival. The material may be used by the festival on its website, in print or to promote the event and the organisation via social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Photos or recorded material may also be used on media partners’ media channels or print, including radio and/or television. Data will not be used for any purposes other than those described above. If you object to your image being published online, you can submit a request for removal.
You can check and change your account details through the shopping cart > login. You can also track your previous purchases here. You can change all personal details and by request we can completely remove your account. However, we have a legal obligation to retain certain details. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter yourself by checking the box in ‘My account’, by following the hyperlink in the mailing itself, or by sending an e-mail to info@tweetakt.nl.
Your data are stored in a datacentre with extensive security measures. Online payments are conducted through renowned payment providers in safe, encrypted processes. Account detail exchange is also secured via SSL-encryption. However, we do recommend that you make sure your own devices are secure and that you guard your login details with care.
