In Terminator Too, creators Robbert Vervloet and Ephraïm Cielen immerse themselves in the world of Hollywood blockbusters. They create their own universe where they are the heroes. With homemade special effects, costumes made from cereal boxes, excerpts from popular (action) films from past and present, spectacular combat choreography, and a freshly composed soundtrack, they make their own movie, the ultimate escape from reality. But tension builds between the two brothers as the outside world plays a larger role. Underneath lies a grim undertone. Why do these two dreamers shut themselves off from the outside world?

Theater maker Robbert Vervloet is a resident artist at De Studio and has performed with tg Elektra, fABULEUS, hetpaleis, Het Kwartier, Tuning People, and Laika, among others. He has appeared on television series such as ‘Loslopend wild’, ‘Gevoel Voor Tumor’, and ‘Buck’. He is currently appearing in the second season of ‘F*** You Very, Very Much’.

Musician/actor Ephraïm Cielen is a regular musician with the Ellen Schoenaerts Quartet. Additionally, Cielen has created music for productions by Laika, Het nieuwstedelijk, Frieda, FroeFroe, Studio Orka, One Trick Pony, BRONKS, fABULEUS, Pantalone, Tg Elektra, and various young creators. He coaches and collaborates with Sofie Palmers and performs solo under the name Kasper Schellingerhout.
