A paper universe comes to life, revealing one enchanting world after another.
Papierlied is a visual performance for young children that starts with a small, inconspicuous bookcase. The books unfold. The forest, the stones, the mountains, the birds, the clouds, and the ocean all come to life. Does the river speak? Is the sea sometimes angry? Can the grass sing? What does the forest think? Can the wind keep a secret? Can a rock fit into a book? Gradually, a special world unfolds, full of shadow plays, pop-up models, objects, sound, and light. Wanda Eyckerman and Annelies Van Hullebusch bring a paper universe to life.
