After the break-up, Lulu discovers a black hole where her stomach used to be. It’s only as big as a tennis ball, yet it sucks up everything. Everything. Even the memories of her gray hamster Crispy and the lessons from her Spanish teacher of Dutch are gone. Yet she still has to get up. Have breakfast with her sleepy alien father. In ‘INFINITY FOREVER’, Mats Vandroogenbroeck and Jonas Baeke, creators of the acclaimed ‘Bambiraptor’, explore the sudden feeling that everything is gone, even though the world keeps turning. They try to grasp the moment when words fail to describe a feeling that’s far too big: a broken heart.

More about the creators:

Mats Vandroogenbroeck graduated in 2019 from the drama program at KASK School of Arts Gent. For ‘Through the Looking-Glass (and what we found there)’, he, along with Timo Sterckx and Nona Demey Gallagher, received the Sabam Jongtheaterschrijfprijs TAZ 2019. Together, the trio formed the theater collective Krapp vzw in 2019, with which they recently created ‘Weird Tales’ and ‘De Duivels’. For KOPERGIETERY, he created ‘Bambiraptor’ (together with Jonas Baeke) and appeared in ‘Fun Loving Humans’ and ‘Shakira & Chikara’.

Jonas Baeke graduated in 2022 as an actor/theater maker from KASK School of Arts Gent. His graduation performance ‘Pinokkio’, created with Jef Hellemans, was selected for TAZ and Shortwood. Jonas participated in the Theaterateliers of KOPERGIETERY for many years and appeared in the production ‘Fun Loving Humans’. In 2021, he created ‘Bambiraptor’ with Mats Van Droogenbroeck for the company. In 2023, he is responsible for the text and direction of his own production ‘Mr. Beam’.
