Joey Lou is a DJ, Producer & Musical Performance Artist, currently based in the Netherlands. As Co-founder of ZENA, Joey Lou always aspires to make the music scene a safer space for the FLINTA* community and setting an example of being an Artist that doesn’t look away but rather creates a working environment that supports diversity and open discussion for anyone.

JOEY LOU creates a unique rhythmically colorful sound driven by UK breakbeat, Acid House and Jungle Techno. You will find her inviting live Instrumentalists to her sets such as Cello, Clarinet or Trumpet players, making each set an intimate unique experience for the listener.

Since the age of 17 Joey Lou has been playing in underground scenes and clubs of Germany and is now working her way through the Dutch clubs such as WAS Utrecht, Sexyland World Amsterdam and Weelde Rotterdam.
