followfollow is a dance production about following, in all senses of the word. It is about copying and imitating; underground becoming mainstream; fashion appearing, disappearing and returning; giving thumbs-up and giving hearts; and following the lead and sometimes going the wrong way.
About the maker
Choreographer and performer Koen De Preter has had a long collaboration with fABULEUS. He created the solo piece Les mots … toujours les mots bien sûr (2004), the youth production .White.Muted.Crash. (2005) and the duet We dance to forget (2007). For this followfollow, Koen works with a group of young people between the ages of 13 and 21.
